Travel by bus is one of the leading forms of transport connecting Cork Airport terminal to the city centre, as well as the region at large. The major bus stations in Cork are located at Merchant’s Quay and Parnell Place. From either of these hubs, it’s possible to connect to cities across southern Ireland and beyond.

There are only bus companies providing service from the terminal: Bus Éireann and City Link.

Bus Éireann

The busiest coach company operating at Cork Airport, Bus Éireann connects back and forth between the locations around the city on a regular basis. Passengers can also make use of Bus Éireann if they would like to travel onward by train. Upon connecting from the terminal to Parnell Place, it’s only ten minute walk to the Irish Rail depot.

City Link

This regional service provider connects to other cities in south Ireland. One route connects from the airport to Galway and takes 3 hours to arrive. Another connects to Limerick and takes 2 hours. There are roughly half a dozen departures daily.
